Welcome to the B(log). I chose this name with little bit of thought process. I believe, the things that are currently experiencing in the world is kind of cyclic from the past and we are giving different shapes in a much wider and broader format so that it becomes more and more useful.
Further, doing parallel tasking is not a new thing, it has been there in the world for a long time - building constructions by men working in parallel, fruit picking in parallel and many more. Thus the much bigger task is split into smaller units which are done in parallel so that when these results are grouped, the final result is achieved - concept in Hadoop. And, we are in a position to use our Statistics (brother of Mathematics) to use its concepts for Data Sciences. Some of the data exploration was started in 1960s itself (A Very Short History of Data Science).
I personally feel, many of the things that we do now is a kind of enhanced version of what were done in early days in a smaller scale and currently we expand them into a very large scope and with some commonality.
Moreover, this is not of complete technical write-ups. However, it would have technical information and I intend to share different observations and solutions to some problems.
